Dennis had been in the lifestyle two years. He'd played as a single, been invited into a few couples' beds, watched from the corner while husbands took their turns. But he'd never been the bull — never been the one the husband specifically wanted to watch, never been the one the wife had been thinking about since his profile photo loaded on her screen two weeks ago. That specific role had a gravity to it he hadn't fully understood until Megan and Aubrey messaged him on a Tuesday afternoon.
We've seen your profile. We like what we see. Are you interested in meeting?
He'd looked at her photos for a long time before responding.
They met at a bar first. Aubrey was compact and broad-shouldered, the kind of guy who'd played lacrosse in college and still carried himself like it. Handsome. Comfortable in his own skin. Dennis had been nervous about meeting the husband, but Aubrey had a steadiness about him that immediately relaxed the room. He was the one who'd suggested this. He wanted this. That mattered.
Megan was something else entirely. Dark hair, sharp green eyes, thirty-two and completely unbothered by the fact that they were all sitting at a bar negotiating what was about to happen to her. She ordered a whiskey sour, asked Dennis what he did for work, laughed genuinely when he said software engineer — "I figured, honestly" — and then leaned forward on her elbows and said, "So. Are we doing this or not?"
They were doing this.
The hotel room was neutral ground. Dennis sat on the edge of the bed while Megan stood at the mirror taking out her earrings. Aubrey settled into the chair in the corner — not removed, present, watching — and the dynamic crystallized. This was his room, his wife, his idea. And he was giving Dennis the center of it.
"Come here," she said, not to the mirror. To Dennis.
He crossed the room and stood behind her, close enough that she could feel him, and met her eyes in the reflection. She turned around and kissed him — not tentative, not first-date kissing, but the kind of kiss you give someone when you've already decided. Her hands went to his shirt buttons and worked them open methodically while he unzipped her dress and let it fall. She stepped out of it without breaking eye contact.
From the chair: nothing. Aubrey just watching.
She reached his belt. Got it open. Jeans next — and her fingers found him, and she went still. She wrapped her hand around him — thick in addition to long, a combination that took a second to register — and looked up at Dennis with something that was equal parts appreciation and calculation.
"Aubrey," she said, steady. "He was not lying about the measurements."
From the corner: "I told you."
She stroked him slowly, feeling the weight of it. She'd been with Aubrey for nine years. One man, nine years, and now her hand was full of something categorically different — and the realization was happening in real time across her face.
On the bed she pulled him down, guided his mouth to her neck, her breasts, lower. When he moved between her thighs she held his hair and he took his time — she was already soaked before he got there. He brought her to the edge with his mouth and she came quietly, thighs locked around his head, hips working against his face until she went still.
"Now," she said. "I want to feel you."
He positioned himself and pushed in slowly, and her breath left her in one long exhale — not pain, the opposite, the specific sound of being stretched past what she was used to, her body opening around a girth that was new to her. He stayed still, letting her adjust. He could feel her pulse around him.
"Keep going," she said.
He did.
First few strokes were deliberate — giving her time to take the length and the thickness both. Then she arched her hips up. More. He gave her more. The headboard knocked against the wall. She grabbed the sheet with one hand and his hip with the other and he found the rhythm she was asking for, deep and steady, and the sounds she made became less controlled.
She turned her head and found Aubrey's eyes over Dennis's shoulder — held that gaze while Dennis moved inside her. In that look between husband and wife, Dennis understood what he actually was: the instrument of something happening between those two people. A gift Aubrey had given her. A gift she was giving back by letting him watch her take it completely.
She came the second time harder. Nails in his back, left marks, cried out — yes, right there, don't stop — and clenched around him until she went boneless.
After, Aubrey crossed the room and pulled her against him. Dennis lay on his back staring at the ceiling.
"You good?" Aubrey said.
"Very."
"We'll be in touch."
First time as the bull. Not the last.
